Jacky Wu ‘25- Ceramics

Jacky Wu ‘25 created this piece for a "Creative Teapot and Teacups" assignment.

Ceramics teacher Sarah Macleod states “This particular piece is layered with intricate details. There is not a space that the eye doesn't want to look. From the creative way that Jacky chose to incorporate the teacup handle as an octopus tentacle, to the fish head topper on the teapot lid, there is more to draw your eye in the longer you look at it.

This set has been entered into  The Tidal Shift Award  show, which is a juried competition that aims to showcase, amplify and elevate youth perspectives and art to highlight climate change solutions.”
